I am the person they call when they need something. No matter what it is, because they know I will do anything and everything to help them regardless of whatever I may have going on at the time. But as soon as things start looking up for them again, they are gone, nowhere to be found till the next time they need something. I dont mind being there. I will do whatever I can to help someone out. I dont even have to know them. I'm surrounded by all these people and yet, at the end of the day, I'm the one sitting alone, in the dark, looking at my phone and the hundreds of names in it and knowing it's pointless to try and call any of them, because they'll be busy or wont answer or just simply will not care. But they will remember me next time they need something, becuase that's the way things are, and I'm still going to be there for them. Is it really so difficult to be there for someone? Especially when they are always there for you? After reading many quotes and seeing what everyone elses opinion of what a "real friend" is, I am more certain now than ever, I dont have ANY, but I will continue to be the kind of friend to them, that I wish they were to me and maybe one day, I will find that one-in-a-million person !!!
