) 1791 – 1867 ) Michael Faraday Text :
Michael Faraday was born on September 22nd,1791 in Newington England, near
London. He was the second of four children in the family. His family was poor. When Michael was young, he asked questions continually to the point that his teachers and his father wanted him to stop questioning.
In 1821 , he invented the first electric motor with a wire turning around a magnet.He
refused to teach in the the University of London , continued his experiments and
developed the first dynamo in 1845. In 1861,he retired because his memory was so
poor. He died on August 25th,1867.
